DevExpress Releases Free CodeRush Xpress

Everyone’s favourite producer of feature rich controls for .Net programming have released in conjunction with Microsoft a set of navigation feature and refactoring tools. These tools are some of the more important features from Refactor! Pro and CodeRush.

Fix slow My Computer loading with Tortoise SVN settings

Have you noticed that on any machine where you have Tortoise SVN installed, when you click My Computer it seems to think about it for a while before showing you the drives available?

IdeaBlade Object Mapper isn't in my Tools Menu!

Recently my install of IdeaBlade went MIA from both Visual Studio 2005 & 2008. I'm not exactly sure why, but I suspect it is probably something to do with VS crashing.

The first thing I tried was the old uninstall/reinstall path. That didn't work! What to do? Google held the answer in the form of the DevForce Support Forums

I have been reading Coding Horror for a couple of years now, and I only recently noticed a great resource that Jeff has on that site. It's a complete (I think) listing of keyboard shortcuts for Visual Studio 2005.

Some of these have come in very handy for us around the office, and hopefully we can all pick up some more gems from this list.
